The VE40 is a 1500w electric motor Scarifier / Verticutter. Ideal for the smaller to middle size garden, light weight and easy to use. This model also has an optional grass collector. Scarifiers / Verticutters are an essential tool for those gardeners who want to keep their lawns in tip-top condition. Used regularly a Scarifier / Verticutter will remove moss and thatch from your lawn allowing the grass to grow more healthily. Many Scarifiers/Verticutters in the market place have relatively lightweight spring tines but our Lawnflite range feature solidsteel blades. Not only are these more robust than spring tines they also cut lateral growing grass roots forcing the root to grow downwards to where the best moisture and nutrients lie.
